Recognised in 2019 as Next Generation Lawyer and in 2020 as Next Generation Partner in the field of administrative law (Legal500), Filippo Degni gained professional experience working in the firm of Professor Franco Gaetano Scoca. In 2007, together with Professor Police, he joined the international law firm Clifford Chance, where he was appointed Counsel in the Administrative Law Department in 2014. At the same time, he deepened his knowledge of administrative law. First, he obtained a PhD in public law at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and then, a research grant in public law economics at the LUISS “Guido Carli” (2010); over the years he has been a teacher for Masters, training courses and university lectures. The professional experience gained over the years in the entire sector is extensive and significant, particularly in matters of public procurement, regulatory and organisational autonomy of public bodies, telecommunications law, environmental law and town planning law. Filippo Degni was admitted to the bar in 2004 and in 2016 to practice before the Italian Supreme Court, having passed the final exam for enrolment in the special register for practising before the higher courts.
